Package Includes

Roundtrip flights from to Toronto to Cancun, Baggage ( 1checked baggage of 23kg and 1 carry on per person is permitted free of charge ) round trip transfers from Cancun airport to Hotel Xcaret, all flight taxes included, accommodations as per quote selection, all meals and beverages as per hotelbrochure.

Taxes that are not included:

Mexico Resort Tax - The state of Quintana Roo, Mexico is charging resort visitors an environmental tax. The tax is $20.00-$30.00 MXN per room per night (approximately 2-3 CAD per room per night). For the standard 7-night all-inclusive visitor, this works out to approximately $15.00-$17.00 CAD to be paid at your hotel upon check-in. This tax cannot be pre-collected by your travel agency or tour operator and must be paid directly to the hotel, who then pays this tax to the government. Mexico Foreign Tourist Fee (new April 1, 2021) - Payments can be made online at http://visitax.gob.mx/, prior to arrival or during the stay in Quintana Roo (CUN/CZM). All major credit cards are accepted. Guests will need to provide the following information at time of payment: Number of people traveling Name, age and passport number of each individual Departure date. All travelers must present their proof of payment/receipt at the airport prior to their departure home. In the case of not having completed the process in advance, travelers will receive assistance at the airport to do it at that time. Cost is $224.00 Mexican pesos per person, approx. $10-11 USD a person.

Important: Names must appear exactly as passport and all Canadian passports be valid until May 20 2024 (180 days after you return from Cancun, Mexico).

IMPORTANT UPDATE

Mexico Bans Smoking in Public Spaces, Including Resorts and Beaches.
The Government of Mexico has approved the new Law on Tobacco Control, the most wide-ranging in the Americas, which has forbidden national or foreign citizens from smoking in public spaces, such as beaches, resorts, patios, balconies, terraces, amusement parks, shopping malls, public transport, and entertainment centers, among many other places. The ban is in effect as of January 15, 2023.

The regulation states that restaurants, bars, hotels, and entertainment centers can maintain their smoking-only areas; however, they cannot offer any services in those areas that must be physically separated by at least 10 meters.

The new law also stipulates that it is strictly forbidden that, in places intended for lodging, any tobacco or nicotine products are consumed in guest rooms and areas with access to the general public or shared use.

The Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), after congratulating the Mexican government for the implementation of the Law on Tobacco Control, said that tobacco use is the single most preventable cause of death in the world and responsible for about one million deaths a year in the Americas region, counting direct smokers, such as second-hand smokers.

For the comfort and health of all guests, smoking is not permitted anywhere within the Dreams Vista resort. Smoking is allowed only in the designated smoking areas provided by resort. All rooms at Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort - All Inclusive are designed for comfort. Vaping is also not permitted.
